VEXA ASA is an engineering-grade filament designed for outdoor applications where UV resistance and weatherability are critical. Unlike ABS, which degrades and yellows in sunlight, ASA maintains its colour, strength, and mechanical properties even after prolonged outdoor exposure — making it the go-to material for garden equipment, outdoor signage, automotive parts, and weatherproof enclosures. With exceptional impact strength (19.6 kJ/m² notched), a heat deflection temperature of 100°C, and excellent resistance to acids and alkalis, VEXA ASA delivers professional-grade performance for demanding functional applications.
Key Features
- Exceptional UV resistance — maintains colour and strength in direct sunlight
- Superior weather resistance for long-term outdoor use
- High impact strength — 19.6 kJ/m² notched, 41.0 kJ/m² unnotched
- Excellent heat resistance — 100°C heat deflection temperature
- Good chemical resistance to acids and alkalis

Important Notes
- Enclosed Printer Recommended: ASA prints best with a heated chamber (45–60°C) to prevent warping and layer splitting
- Ventilation Required: Print in a well-ventilated area — ASA releases fumes during printing
- Bed Adhesive: Use glue stick or Bambu Lab glue for reliable first-layer adhesion
- Moisture Sensitive: Dry filament before use if exposed to humidity for extended periods
When your prints need to survive the Australian sun, VEXA ASA delivers. It's the material of choice for outdoor applications where standard plastics would fade, crack, or degrade — giving you functional parts that look and perform like new, year after year.
