Keep your Creality K1 Series hotend running cool with this precision-machined aluminium heatsink cooling block. Designed specifically for the K1C, K1 MAX, and K1SE ceramic hotend systems, this replacement heatsink effectively dissipates heat from the cold side of the hotend, preventing thermal creep that can cause filament jams, under-extrusion, and print failures during extended or high-speed printing sessions. The CNC-machined aluminium construction provides excellent thermal conductivity while remaining lightweight, making it an essential spare part for maintaining optimal print performance.
Key Features
- CNC-machined aluminium construction for superior heat dissipation
- Prevents heat creep and thermal-related filament jams
- Direct drop-in replacement for original heatsink
- Side locking screw holes for easy installation
- Lightweight and durable — resists scratches and deformation
Specifications
- Material: Aluminium alloy
- Finish: Anodised (corrosion resistant)
- Compatibility: Creality K1C, K1 MAX, K1SE (ceramic hotend versions)
- Installation: Direct replacement — uses existing mounting points
- Installation Time: Approximately 30–45 minutes
Compatibility Notes
- Compatible: Creality K1C, K1 MAX (2024 version), K1SE — printers with ceramic hotend and one-piece throat design
- Check Before Purchase: This heatsink is designed for the newer ceramic heating block hotend system. Ensure your printer uses the ceramic hotend (not the original 2023 K1/K1 MAX design) before ordering
What's in the Box
- Aluminium Heatsink Cooling Block ×1
Ideal For
- Replacing worn or damaged heatsinks
- Resolving heat creep and thermal-related print failures
- Maintaining 600mm/s high-speed printing performance
- Spare parts inventory for print farms and production environments
When to Replace Your Heatsink
- Experiencing frequent filament jams or clogs
- Heat creep issues causing inconsistent extrusion
- Visible damage, corrosion, or deformation on existing heatsink
- Overheating problems during extended print sessions
Installation Overview
Replacing the heatsink requires partial disassembly of the print head. Heat the nozzle to 260°C to clear any filament, then allow the hotend to cool completely before beginning work. Remove the print head cover, disconnect the model fan, and access the heatsink mounting screws. The new heatsink installs in the reverse order. Basic tools (hex wrenches) are required. Full installation guides are available on the Creality Wiki.
A well-functioning heatsink is critical for high-speed printing performance. By maintaining proper thermal separation between the hot and cold zones of your hotend, you'll experience fewer jams, more consistent extrusion, and better overall print quality — especially when pushing your K1 Series printer to its full 600mm/s capability.
