Bambu Lab PPA-CF is a premium carbon-fiber reinforced PPA (nylon) filament built for demanding functional parts. It delivers very high stiffness and strength, excellent dimensional stability, and reliable performance in humid or high-temperature environments, making it a strong choice for engineering prototypes and end-use components. This filament is supplied as a 0.75 kg spool in 1.75mm diameter and is designed for enclosed printers using hardened wear components and careful filament drying for best results.
Key Features
- Carbon-fiber reinforced PPA (nylon) for metal-like strength and very high stiffness
- Outstanding dimensional stability for precise, warp-resistant functional prints
- Stable mechanical performance in humid conditions with low moisture-related property drop
- High heat resistance for parts used in hot environments
- Requires a hardened steel nozzle due to carbon-fiber content
- Must be dried before printing and stored sealed with desiccant
- Not compatible with AMS / AMS lite due to material and feeding constraints

Ideal For
- High-strength functional parts and engineering prototypes
- Components exposed to heat, load, or mechanical stress
- Applications needing precision and dimensional stability
- Humid-environment or water-adjacent parts where stiffness retention matters
For best results, dry PPA-CF thoroughly before printing and keep it sealed with desiccant between uses. With an enclosed printer and hardened nozzle, this filament opens the door to industrial-grade strength and accuracy in a desktop workflow.
