Bambu Lab PETG Basic Refill is the cost-effective PETG for prints that need to be tougher than PLA. Bambu's upgraded formula now matches the strength of PLA Basic while keeping the toughness to absorb impacts, so it suits structural household parts and practical tools like holders, wall hooks, brackets and clips. Strong resistance to water, UV and temperature makes it a budget-friendly pick for outdoor prints, from garden labels to bathroom accessories. The refill format skips the plastic spool and comes vacuum-sealed with desiccant.
Key Features
- Strong and tough: bending strength 75 MPa (XY) and 56 MPa layer strength (Z), with 34.2 kJ/m² impact strength, well above PLA Basic's 20.6
- Cost-effective for outdoor use with strong resistance to water, UV and heat
- Less stringing and a smoother surface thanks to lower moisture sensitivity than typical PETG
- Low indoor printing emissions, certified to UL GREENGUARD 2904
- RFID-enabled: all printing parameters load automatically through the AMS
- 13 colours to choose from, all in the eco-friendly refill format

Printing Tips
- Dry before use for best results. If the filament has sat in air above 50% humidity for more than 72 hours, dry it at 65°C for 8 hours before printing.
- PETG Basic adheres strongly to PEI plates. Let the plate cool before removing the model to avoid damaging the bottom surface.
- Store in an airtight container with desiccant between prints.
